3rd graders learned about STEM through Fairy Tales, Fables, and Myths. STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Students read and analyzed a variety of Fairy Tales, Fables, and Myths. After reading the classic story, The Three Little Pigs
, students worked to design and build a house for their three pigs (cotton balls) that could withstand huffs and puffs from the Big Bad Wolf (hair dryer).
